Tree Paintings

  As I often walk in the woods, I am obsessed with tree bark. The different patterns and depth of those patterns, which indicate the trees' agelessness, draw me in. The trees' connections with each other and the light passing through them made me imbue them with human qualities. I felt they were alive and responsive to each other and to me.
