Drip Paintings

   I began this series of paintings as experiments with dripping and pouring paint as the underpainting, covering the surface of the canvas. Finding the interplay between the accidental drips and the intentional use of color and movement supplied me with imaginative prompts suggesting the narrative imagery to follow.
